Maternity Photography Sessions in Saint-Jérôme
Lifestyle Session
- Approximately 1-hour session at the location of your choice;
- Access to a private web gallery of 60+ images for selection;
- Delivery of 15 edited images in high-resolution digital format, copyright-free for personal printing use (option to purchase additional downloads individually or the complete gallery);
- Access to client wardrobe;
- Maximum of 2 adults and 4 children ($20/additional person);
- Extra charge of $0.50/km beyond 20km from my studio;
- 15% discount on a newborn session.
Underwater Session
- Approximately 1-hour session;
- Access to an artificial lagoon, however it is possible to take photos at home or even in a natural waterway (although visibility is greatly reduced);
- Access to a private web gallery of 50+ images for selection;
- Delivery of 10 edited images in high-resolution digital format, copyright-free for personal printing use (option to purchase additional downloads individually or the complete gallery);
- Maximum of 2 adults and 4 children;
- Photos take place even if weather conditions are unfavorable (cancellation in case of thunderstorms);
- Extra charge of $0.50/km beyond 20km from my studio.
My favorite spots for your maternity photos
Parc Régional de la Rivière-du-Nord – My absolute favorite for maternity sessions. The wooded trails offer magical filtered light, perfect for soft and intimate photos. In fall, the colors are spectacular. Wilson Falls creates a soothing background sound and makes for stunning photos. The park is open 364 days a year, giving us incredible flexibility. We typically go on weekdays or early weekend mornings to avoid crowds.
P'tit Train du Nord Linear Park – Ideal if you like long, open perspectives. This paved cycling path is accessible and easy to walk even with a big belly. The sunset light here is beautiful. Also perfect for sessions that include siblings on bikes or grandparents.
Parc-Nature du Lac Jérôme – A huge, peaceful natural park, equivalent in size to Montreal's Mount Royal Park. Less busy than Parc de la Rivière-du-Nord, it's the perfect spot if you're looking for more privacy and tranquility for your session.
Choosing a Maternity Session in Saint-Jérôme
Saint-Jérôme offers an exceptional setting for your pregnancy photos. As a maternity photographer established in the region, I know perfectly the most beautiful spots in the city to immortalize this magical period.

Vieux-Saint-Jérôme (Old Town) – If you like a softer urban look, the historic district streets offer architectural charm. The Cathedral and century-old buildings create unique backdrops. Less common for maternity photos, so your images will truly stand out.
Your home – Honestly, this is often my favorite option. The intimacy of your own home, where baby will grow up, adds an incredible emotional dimension. Your bedroom bathed in natural light, baby's future corner being prepared, your cozy couch where you rest... These everyday details become precious over time.
Best time for your session
May to October – The ideal period for outdoor photos. Nature is in full bloom, the weather is pleasant, and the light is perfect. Early mornings (8-10am) and late afternoons (4-6pm) offer the best light.
November to April – In-home sessions are very popular (and so cozy!). But I've also done beautiful winter sessions in the snow at Parc de la Rivière-du-Nord for the brave ones. The contrast of your belly with the winter scenery creates truly unique images.

Your girlfriend is going to push out a human being in a few weeks, your small contribution is to book the photoshoot. You can do it. Seriously though, I'm not awkward, I capture candid memories and we're going to have a good time. Dads often say "I really didn't want to do it, but it actually wasn't too bad!" and I take that as a compliment. Your child will cherish the memories of both parents before their arrival for their whole life, yes both parents, even the one who isn't carrying said child.
